Code to download all C2 logbook sessions
Inspired by this github repository (https://github.com/arnold-c/garmin-backups) I wrote a piece of code to export all of the data from a C2 logbook to a set of json files. You need to get/create an API key in the Applications section when you edit your profile and plug it into the api_token variable...

This is really awesome! How are you collecting all of this data? And, getting into Excel? I assume you've written a bunch of code. I'm a programmer (mostly python) and would love to do something similar.

Re: Can this Model E really be a 1,000,000+ meter machine?
At a very slow rate of 10,000 meters per hour, it only takes 100 hours of rowing to get to 1M meters. I am averaging 15k meters per day so I'm hitting 1M meters every couple of months.

Re: Has anyone used Maffetone to train for an erg marathon?
I'm not quite following all the references to running since my question is about erg marathons. I imagine that endurance training for one sport could translate to another sport but that's not what I'm asking. Also, I'm particularly interested in folks who are doing/have done Maffetone, which is also...

Has anyone used Maffetone to train for an erg marathon?
I've been using Maffetone's approach for the past few weeks on my erg and I like that my performance is improving and that I'm not wiped out after a workout. I've become very interested in doing erg marathons and half marathons using MAF. I can pretty easily row for an hour straight and am wondering...

Re: accessing output of the PM4
Ah, I didn't see the SDK forum. Will post there if I have any problem with pyrow.
Thanks.
Thanks.

accessing output of the PM4
I hope this is the right group. I've been a lightweight programmer (perl, shell scripting, some C, assembler forever ago) for years. I'm interested in being able to row with my eyes closed, in a meditative way, but I'd like to have some audible indicators if I'm in a pre-determined heart-rate zone, ...

Re: PM4 doesn't remember heart rate monitor
It turns out that I removed the rechargeable battery pack and put it back in and the problem is resolved. So, rebooting the PM4 cleared the problem.

Re: PM4 doesn't remember heart rate monitor
The Concept 2 Utility tells me:
PM Firmware Version: 318 Build 0
Hardware Version: 321
If I go through the motions of having it upgrade the firmware it tells me that it would be upgrading to the same version. At that point I abort.

PM4 doesn't remember heart rate monitor
I stopped using the heart rate chest transmitter some months ago then recently started using it again. The MP4 on my C2 doesn't seem to find the transmitter unless I click on "Connect Heart Rate." When I do that and it finds the belt and I tell it to remember the belt it will still forget the next t...

BoatCoach: What Android to PM4 cable do I need?
I'm confused. I've installed BoatCoach on my Android phone. All of the info I can find on the web about connecting the PM4 to a phone is very iPhone-specific. But, obviously there's got to be a way to connect the PM4 to an Android since there's an Android version of the software. What do I need to b...

Concept2 Utility is not able to connect to server
I downloaded the Mac version of Concept2 Utility to start uploading session data to my online logbook. The utility reads my PM4 card just fine but when I click on the login checkbox and enter my username and password I get a message that reads: Requesting Ranking ID from Server... It never returns f...
