Finally uploaded some numbers. I had an accident at work, was out of commission for a few weeks. Slowed me down training for the Blackburn Challenge. I just hit 8 million meters the other day.....

Mark 15,000 m ...steadily working up to the half marathon distance. Question is: will it be a half or a full ? It's going to happen!

It's going to be 20 plus miles in an open ocean race....... The Blackburn Challenge. That is the main reason I'm racking up the meters.

Got 2 feet of snow here, buried the truck while plowing. Had to dig it out to get unstuck. Shoveled a whole bunch, then rowed 13k, and shoveled some more... Yeah, I got exercise today..... Also, I am either going solo, or my son will team up with me. I have done it once solo in a Wine Glass Wherry by Pygmy boats, and once with my son as a team.

Yes, the shoulder surgery was 2 years ago. Took 6 months after to recover and rehab. Then I got fat and lazy.... The Blackburn is a remarkable event. I am building a Chester Yawl for the race. I like traditional type rowing. http://www.clcboats.com/shop/boats/rowb ... t-kit.html

OK, I joined up. Thanks! I am training to do the Blackburn Challenge again (third time) this summer, and can use all the help I can get. Started a little over a month ago, have 187k so far. Cheers, Mark

Are you people accepting new members? I am getting back to erging again, was a member of another team, but there is no activity by the members, and am looking for a more active team to help me keep going.....

Boy has this group changed..... Seems to be very little activity and such, last post from anyone was a week ago... Not sure if this group is still a good fit for me. On a good note, since starting training for the Blackburn I have done 176,000 in a month.

I am just getting back to regular erging. I have committed to doing the Blackburn Challenge again and need to get fit. I was in good shape, but shoulder surgery and laziness took care of that...... Now to start over.
