Thought I'd update my progress. I just got back in the saddle after 3 weeks off. Heart rate has dropped significantly. I clocked a 48bpm a week ago and 57bpm sitting here after a cup of tea and taking the dogs for a walk. I'm glad I've seemingly dropped my heart rate with a very simple fitness basel...

Thought I'd add another data point. I took some old socks and wrapped the heel bar a couple times. Has worked wonderfully and allows me to row barefoot with no heel blisters. I leave the nylong strap somewhat loose so it doesnt dig into the top of my foot at the catch....but I over compress I think,...

Thought I'd post some of my workouts so I can keep track and stay motivated. Hello all, I picked up a used Model D rower the other day after keeping my eye out for one for a while.
