Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!
10k PB today, 39:46. 1.59.3 500m split. Pretty chuffed with that as it had been a pretty heavy week.

Just ordered - question on ErgData app
Just placed my order for a Ski Erg - pretty excited! However, I already have a row erg and have a question around how the erg data app works in conjunction with both machines. Can my erg data app be connected to both rower and skier at the same time? Is it intelligent enough to recognise when i've s...

Re: How do you mix workouts with a rower and slierg
i have had both a rower and skierg for the past two years or so ... i also stick to strength training and cardio on separate days ... after a warmup and stretch on cardio days i split work equally between rower and skierg ... if i do intervals or pyramids, i move back and forth between each machine...

Pulled intercostal
So 2 weeks ago I pulled one of my intercostal muscles. I don't remember it going specifically, just got off the machine and could feel it was pretty sore in on my left side around one of the ribs. It's still really sore when moving from a lying down position to upright and feels like it's going to r...

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!
1:56 in the 5K is a hefty effort. Well done! I suggest trying the following... 6x750m/r1:30 at 1:54 pace. This specific workout really helped me nail down my aerobic capacity for my 1K PB. Its a tough one... but give it a few tries... Thanks! Funnily enough I was going to ask about a recommended in...

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!
Had a great January, upping the distance and reducing my times across 6k, 8k and 10k. Mid Feb seemed to pick up a string of bugs and viruses, knocked me out for around 5 weeks. Just starting to pick up again and realised I'd never actively tried a decent 5k time 19.20 / 1.56 / 26bspm Could deffo do ...

PM 5 - Bluetooth and HR poor connection
Hi I have noticed the bluetooth connection from my PM5 to my Android phone is extremely poor. It often says its connected, only for it to instantly drop. This seems to have started since the weather has began to get a lot colder (my erg is stored in my garage). Same for my Garmin heart rate chest st...

updating firmware: error 1842
I am trying to update my PM 5 with the latest firmware. I've installed the latest utility software on my laptop, inserted a fresh formatted USB stick, and downloaded the latest firmware onto it. When i stick it into the back of the PM5 and switch on i get a 'usb stick error'. The error in question i...

Re: Arms feel like doing more than my legs
Just starting out and like you, find my arms are quite fatigued after a session. By no means is my form perfect but I do feel as though I'm not pulling with them until the legs are fully extended and back has swung to the 11 position. Assuming your technique is ok, consider that fact that even thoug...

Re: First week
Starting anything new will cause "new" muscles to get fatigued. With regard to your forearms the same is true, but I would suggest you are gripping the handle too hard. You don't even have to "grip" it, just hook your fingers around it on the drive, and barely hang on to it on the recovery (just so...

First week
Model D was delivered last Monday and I've really enjoyed my first week. After my first session (following the beginner Pete Plan so a 5k) my knees were killing me. Watched a few technique videos and adjusted the foot straps up one notch which helped to stop my knees going past vertical on my shins....
