Re: Heart rate monitor on a PM3

As for where the data is displayed on the PM3, it is in the bottom right corner on the "basic screen". I can't recall where it is on other screens but you don't lose any other display info.

RowPro does a nice job of recording data and displaying it in a graph on the RP computer screen.

USB Port on early PM3

Hey I did it.
Bravely re-soldered the USB port onto my PM3 circuit board.
Not for the faint of heart but thrilling!
Now I am un-stoppable (as long as I can look stuff up on youtube)

Re: PM3 Heart Rate problems

Oh and the capacitor is OK.
Is that USB connector soldered on at the two tabs on the "shield"? Looks like those were pretty corroded and let the whole socket flex on the 4 little tabs.

Looks like I'll need to get the bifocals out.

Re: PM3 Heart Rate problems

Good News/Bad News - Heart rate is working. After some close inspection I saw that heart rate plug was not fully inserted. Working swell now - USB jack is fully broken off. Now I'm really sad. C2 site says buy a new PM. All the tails and the contacts on the board look OK. Not sure I'm up to the sold...

PM3 Heart Rate problems

Today I received a used HR receiver and transmitter that I bought through this forum. My machine is a D1+PM3 running the latest update of firmware for that processor. Plugged in the receiver and its cable and display went BLANK. Some times a vertical or horizontal line would appear and other times n...

Re: Shoulder Tendonitis

I have a problem with the same tendon mostly from overhead physical work. Demonstrated in the Dr office by raising my arm at about 45 degrees from straight ahead, with the hand rotated thumb down. Painfull as I raise the arm past horizontal. I did some physio and some non-drug injections buy an exce...

Re: Total Metres on PM3

Thanks for all the replies (from the usual suspects :). First thing I did is haul out the laptop and update the firmware from ver 82 to current. Sure enough now logging meters as if it is brand new. Did the "three finger reset" on my old PM2 and did the same thing. Machine looks and feels great so I...

Total Metres on PM3

Is there a way to see total metres rowed on the PM3 like there is on the PM2?
I bought a used D1 yesterday for a great price ($550) and in looks in great shape, just wondering how many clicks on it when I start using.

Re: C2 Cardio close to treadmill?

Carl,
Are you saying the Sigma monitor works via the "Polar" pickup with a PM3 (or in my case a PM2)?

Re: PM2 monitor for sale

I bought a used "C" and its missing a battery cover too.

Anybody out there with a PS2 brick they can salvage the cover from?

Re: Best Rug/Mat For Concept 2 Noise Reduction

I have mine on hardwood floors with a 2x2 children's foam "puzzle" tile under each end. Some noise reduction but all reports are you can hear me downstairs. At least its all in my house.
I might look for some "isolation" mount foam next time I'm at my Heating supplier and try that.

Re: Squeak in the Flywheel

Thanks C2Jon,
I am not long enough in the forums to have PM status. I'll keep rowing, assured that its not serious and touch base with you later.

Squeak in the Flywheel

I have been enjoying a used (about 1100 km) Model C for a little over a week. There is a faint squeak in the flywheel as it slows down to a stop, not constant but pulses as the wheel turns like it is rubbing on something at one point of the rotation. Should the bearings in these be lubed at some poi...
