Re: Endurerow seat

Since they only sell one size, they might want to think about providing the sitz bone spacing that works best with their seat. Might save them and potential buyers some grief. I considered buying this seat after I began rowing more than 15km. Somewhere after 12km, my sitz bones reach their limit and...

Re: My Model B Monitor

I love my PM5. I keep my PM2 around because I keep all the original parts of my Model B but it's an antique and I'd never use it since purchasing my PM5. :D

Re: Recommended cushions for C2 Model D seat?

I've been rowing for well over a year now and am only recently running into problems on my Model B. My longest rows were 10km but I recently began rowing 15km. Sessions are lasting about 1:10. The last 2km are pretty painful as my butt reaches the end of its endurance. Can anyone recommend a good su...

Flywheel axle height above seat rail

Does anyone know if the flywheel axle on the Model C and D are farther above the seat monorail than the Model B? I seem to have a harder time keeping the handle from hitting my knees than everyone in the instructional videos. I've already adjusted my foot straps and footrests and my form is good--I ...

Re: PM5 not displaying HR but connects

I had this issue when using a Polar HR monitor with my PM5 that I also had paired with my iPhone. When I deleted the iPhone pairing (in my cyclemeter app), heart rate began displaying on my PM5 and in ErgData on my iPhone.

Re: PM5 error code 10079-9801

This is the official answer from Concept: This error can happen if the device goes out of range and the PM5 has trouble delivering Bluetooth notifications.

I have an email in with them. I'm not too concerned or I would have called. More curious than anything.

PM5 error code 10079-9801

Has anyone seen this error code before? I got it while connecting my iPhone and Polar HR monitor to the PM5. I use ErgData.

Re: replacing the chain

Yes, I meant the chain that goes from the handle, around the sprocket and attached to the skewer. That helps a lot. Thanks! :D

Re: Rowing your running miles

Andrew, Glad to hear rowing helped you maintain your strength while injured. I'm a runner in Las Vegas and I started erging because the summer heat in Las Vegas is brutal and I hate the treadmill. Right now I'm rowing about 50km a week and it seems to be helping my running. My wife and I try to get ...

Re: Rowing & Running Fitness

My wife and I have run a few half marathons and really enjoy them. We have a pretty hectic life and it can be hard to squeeze in 20-30 miles a week running, although that is the goal. We live in Las Vegas and the summer heat makes running difficult. I've begun using her treadmill and don't really en...

Nice work. Which model do you have? Do you know if the roller clutch bearing is the same across all models -- B through E?

replacing the chain

I purchased a new chain for my Model B. I've been reading through the documentation for the Model B and there seems to be a specific procedure for everything but replacing the chain. This should be a pretty simple job but I don't want to screw it up. Anyone have any lessons learned or suggestions? t...
