heart rate monitor

I am thinking of buying the heart rate monitor with chest belt and receiver so I can see my heart beat while I row and not have to look the watch in my wrist all the time, but I am concerned that the wire is going to be an annoyance during the rowing, anybody that uses one can give me an advice?

I just saw today a rowbike on the internet (http://www.rowbike.com/). Did anybody try to ride one? Is it easy to do?

Thanks Bert. I'll reduce my calories to 1400 and try the www. fitday.com. I've notice that each program that count calories has diferent points for the same food.

is anyone else having this 'stubborn weight' problem? and does anyone else have any suggestions on workouts that are slimming?
