Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
I am the one confused - I have entered my 1.402 meters result into regular February challenge, sorry for that. Can you please delete it?

Re: Synchronizing Ergdata
How about synchronizing Logbook with Google Fit, not ErgData - does anyone have an idea whether there is a way how to do it? I do not always row with Ergdata, quite often I manually input my meters to Logbook just to keep track of them. As I have not suceeded with sending them from Logbook to Google...

Re: Trying to understand drag factor better
I must say that the analogy of higher DF and bigger/heavier boat does not fully work for me either. When explaining the drag to clients of our group lessons I prefer using the bicycle analogy. I quite like the example of shorter/longer oars although it captures just the the drive, not the recovery (...

Re: Mod.D/PM4 not communicating
Carl, thank you for your insight and tips. This is what finally happened: I took the sensor and monitor from the erg I have at home and took it to indoor-rowing studio I run. I tried to switch them at another randomly chosen erg. It proved that PM4 was ok, sensor not. I called local C2 dealer to ord...

Re: Mod.D/PM4 not communicating
Citroen, thank you for your help. Unfortunately, the problem persists. I will try to switch the monitor/sensor with another erg to identify which one to blame.

Mod.D/PM4 not communicating
Spooky thing.. today I woke up the erg/monitor, everything worked fine. I took off the PM4 monitor just to take picture of it in better light (to play with software that is able to "read" numbers on the photo - without success, probably due to monochromatic display), than put it back. Since then, th...

Re: Venue Race App - is there another option?
Thanks. Now I found the appropriate documentation at digitalrowing.com. As I would use RowPro exclusively for offline racing, I was wondering, whether this would require regular annual gym licence - apparently yes. Nothing against Venue Racing, I have been using it for many years, I like the functio...

Venue Race App - is there another option?
Hi, I would like to check with you whether I have correct info. I organize various venues for clients from group rowing lessons using 2-12 ergs with USB wired PM4 monitors + Concept2 Venue Race Application. I was wondering whether there is another option (more up-to-date looking) how to display the ...

Re: How many ergs are there?
OK, thanks for you reply. I see your reasons and not gonna push any more. My reason for asking was, that when I present Indoor Rowing to someone (I run Indoor Rowing classes and own 39 ergs) claiming that it is probably the most widespread piece of fitness equipment, his next question usually is "ho...

Re: How many ergs are there?
It seems that the number of ergs produced since 1981 is a well kept secret. Strange, I would expect that for company claiming they have the most widespread piece of fitness equipment this should be a strong marketing tool, maybe even with a counter on a website..

How many ergs are there?
I was wondering, does anyone know/could anyone estimate how many ergs have been produced since 1981 - Mod.A? I read somewhere that C2 is supposed to be the most widespread piece of fitness equipment, I wonder how many ergs it represents.

Group lessons – instant setting of monitors by instructor?
I do not think there is a solution, asking just to be sure.. I run group lessons having 14 ergs in one place. Some of my instructors do not play with setting of the workouts in the monitor – they just start rowing with music and their clients are happy. I prefer to use set times for workout and rest...

New erging record
I believe it must be a world record - this is what I did within 28 hours: Friday evening: - led one Indoor Rowing lesson - carried 5 ergs D’s (from 1st floor, 12+12+10 stairs, 4 doors), squeezed them into my Seat Alhambra, drove 20 kilometers, carried the ergs from the parking lot to the hall in the...
