It seems that the number of ergs produced since 1981 is a well kept secret. Strange, I would expect that for company claiming they have the most widespread piece of fitness equipment this should be a strong marketing tool, maybe even with a counter on a website..

I do not think there is a solution, asking just to be sure.. I run group lessons having 14 ergs in one place. Some of my instructors do not play with setting of the workouts in the monitor – they just start rowing with music and their clients are happy. I prefer to use set times for workout and rest...
