Thanks to all for the lively and motivational discussions and to our team leaders who kept up the pace and great transcontinental road trip!!!! :D I'm off to the military challenge to row for the US Army team (24 years as a Combat Arms Officer). I'll be back for the next one. Thanks again.

Blister prevention...

Matthew... I got these when I first started out and have rowed with them ever since. No issues with blisters at all, very easy to get used to and wear like iron (look the same as the day they arrived). Hope this helps. :D

PTTD and rowing?

Recently diagnosed with PTTD (Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction) :( . Apparently caused by acute adult flatfoot (right foot only). Orthopedic surgeon cleared me to resume rowing but not sure how familiar he is with the mechanics of the rowing stroke. Anyone out there have any experience with this ...
