Re: Does anyone have an old PM1 I could buy?
I have a PM-2 for sale. Description is in the thread below this one. Price $85 shipped with payment through paypal. My Ebay name is Shanesck which could be used for verification feedback. The pickup will connect though it would require some innovation to attach to the cage such as tie wraps and sett...

Re: PM-2 Monitor Top two rows Bottom line out
The Monitor is good! The LCD is full and the 5 shows. I first tried to solder a wire strand to the hole and I was unable to get a solid attachment. On the second try I tinned a wire and clamped it perpendicular to the break, heated it and the solder flowed into a bridge. The board appears to be in f...

Re: PM-2 Monitor Top two rows Bottom line out
Carl you might have hit it. I found a break located at the far left trace line at the connection point to the LCD screen contact. The location is the same side of the board which batteries are though on the flip side. The corrosion showed just a bit darker than the trace line. I zoomed in on the LCD...

PM-2 Monitor Top two rows Bottom line out
Would anyone know a fix for a PM-2 with the bottom line of the LED segments not filling in. I ran the reset and the 5 shows in full on the screen. Once I press off and back on the bottom segment of each character place in the top two rows remains off when it should light up to fill out the number. I...

Re: PM-2 Time Delay
Thanks. I appreciate the explanation. I'll then take to understanding a "switch" in an electronics assembly board more than likely is reference to a grouping of electronic components which when acting together change the path and other attributes of the current. Though wouldn't a relay be mechanical...

Re: PM-2 Time Delay
The monitor is in full operating Condition. Carl, I had it fixed prior to reading your post though your description below might have fit. I disassembled it and cleansed the board with a toothbrush and usual solutions, dried it down with alcohol and a hair dryer. I set in the second battery and the d...

Re: PM-2 Time Delay
Just an update. I set the flywheel and found the monitor will not kick on with a handle pull until the monitor is activated with the on/off button which powers it on with a 20 second delay. The monitor then shows zeroes. I spoke with C2 and the consensus which fits my hunch too is there's more likel...

PM-2 Time Delay
Hello, Does anyone have a fix for a PM-2 (Black with orange Print) with a time delay issue? Upon pressing the on/off button, the monitor does not light up until 15 seconds after. It then works properly and the on/off button and handle pull activate immediately. After 5 minutes of non use, it goes in...
