Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Maybe for the next Team Challenge, Mathineer can identify PI to a fairly large number of digits and members of the team can all sign up to row subsets of the digits? Wouldn't that be irrational? Regardless, I did the first four today, 3141. That may become one of my standard pieces. For a little lo...

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
I used to row whatever happened, then did the math, and added a fixed number to reach a palindrome. Now, with the bikeErg portion of my daily meters being ofttimes cut in half, I just take what I get. (Palindromes still happen ... once in a blue moon.) "Occasionally, palindromes happen." Sounds lik...

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Guys, this morning I did a nice 12K but the ErgData app on my iPhone didn't see it and looks like I lost it. Do you know a way to recover it from Erg one way or another? It's never happened before. I had to leave for work so didn't have much to tinker with it. Hope it's a one off thing. I've been t...

Thank You and a Question or Two
First I'd like to thank Kona2, DanWho, and anyone else involved in the management of this team! The daily postings of meters are hugely motivating. They are the main reason I moved my affiliation to this group (well that and a natural affinity for Luny-ness). When I push my rows much past 5 or 6Km, ...

Next challenge: To infinity and beyond! (Of course, the mathineer in me feels compelled to point out that there is no beyond infinity...) mathineer Ah, but there are different kinds of infinity. And actually, that topic made the news recently - well, maybe not the front page :D . There is the count...

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Hi, Luna-Tics! I just joined (I think, and ifn y'all will have me). I've been rowing since 2010 if memory serves. Haven't rowed much for a while, but started back up for Dog Days. For some reason, I started doing my "distance" rows on Just Row, and with a harder pull and lower stroke rate (around 15...

100K and 5M meters
Earlier today I hit 100K in the Holiday Challenge, and passed 5 million lifetime meters. Then later, I hurt my elbow, so I might be done for the challenge. We shall see.

Holiday Challenge Rankings
In previous challenges, there used to be a page that showed the team rankings, and then you could click on a team and see the rankings within the team. Now, all I can find is the Honor Board. Am I just missing it, or is that information no longer available?

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
The lime green color, apparently denoting rowers that have achieved over 100,000 m in the challenge, is virtually impossible to read (at least on my screen). Is there any chance that another color might be selected that is easier to read? BTW, put me down for a goal of 150K in the challenge. It's a ...

Say, isn't that a power hammer in the background? Isn't that sort of like attaching a motor to your CII?The Blacksmith wrote:The doc told me to be easy on the shoulder, I said I would do some light work.
