Re: 500 Meter Time
Thanks Bob, for the encouragement. I will post a video so I can get advice on technique. Just not able to do so right now. Hopefully will be able to post something within the next couple of weeks. Thanks again for the friendly words. Really helps to motivate.

Re: 500 Meter Time
Well, I took the advice and today I did my first 5000. Did it in 21:33.1 which was an average 500 meter time of 2:09.3. I was pretty pleased with the result given it was my first 5000 and I really haven't rowed very much. I also think I started off much to quickly as I was really spent at the end. W...

Also, I will take the advice of posting a video to this forum. I have been concentrating on technique, but I suppose the only way to ...

I am in decent shape - not fantastic, but not bad. We have an elliptical trainer I regularly use and i also do some strength training, although for ...

Re: Paying Duty on Concept 2 Coming Into Canada
Well, I ended up ordering a rower from Concept, and just received it about one hour ago. Haven't even opened the box yet, but am about to do so. What I wanted to let you know however, is that I did not pay duty. I paid brokerage fees and taxes, but no duty. So if you are in Canada, and looking for a...

Paying Duty on Concept 2 Coming Into Canada
Hello, I have not yet purchased a Concept 2 machine, but am in the process of looking into doing so. My wife and I live in British Columbia, Canada. If we were to buy a new rower directly from Concept, they would ship it to us using UPS. Both UPS and Concept have assured me that I will not need to p...
