Re: What OTW Training have you done today
It's stil very warm here. Temperature has been consistantly around 32 C(90 F) for a number of weeks now and no respite in sight. No significant rain has fallen since August last year. However that translates to very stable water/current conditions on the river I row on. Hence whenever I go out in t...

which single to get?
so I have narrowed my search down to 2 singles of the same model but 2 different years. my first choice is a 2007 midweight fluidesign elite. the other is a 2005 of the same model. differnce between the 2 is the year of make, the 2005 is alittle light which is a bad thing in this case because its ab...

Re: Olympic M1X at water VS. Indoor rower
one thing i would like to say. xeno muellers best 2k when he was competing was 5:53 i think. he won gold in 96 and silver in 2000 and the silver medal was done when he was sick. although xeno wasnt that big compared to alot of the guys in the 1x.
Re: Goals
i would say the 2k would be the easiest, the 30:00 would be hardest followed by the 6k.

Re: lack of power
I'm not an expert and there are others here who are, but I'll give you my opinion. 1. The best advice will come from your coach 2. I'd start by cranking up the intensity and shortening distance on sprint intervals. Do 20x100m or other intense short intervals on the erg. A lot of low pull and sprint...
