... short update on this:
Since I have been using the BETA firmware for the PM5 and the newest Android app, no crashes have occured.

Let's see if this fix is permanent :-).

... what seems to help for me as a (temp.?) fix is:

- Beta firmware for PM5
- Connect the ErgData App
- Let the heart rate belt connect automatically and don't actively connect it via the menu...

But it still seems to work somehow by coincidence.

After many trials... I'm now pretty confident that the drops only happen when 2 devices are connected at the same time.
With the HRM or ErgData connected individually, I don't have any connection crashes...

Fyi...Rowed for 40 minutes straight last night with no drop outs... One difference is I paired my ergdata app to my pm5 first, then a few minutes later, paired the chest strap. You can go back to the stock (non Beta) firmware...

Well, as expected - connecting only the ERGDATA via bluetooth w/o using the HRM in the PM5 works... no connection loss. However, I realized some other bugs related to my issue today when playing around and trying to figure out the logic behind this error: - For example, it is not possible to connect...

You'll need to write to them rowing@concept2.com or call them at 1-800 245 5676 as they don't always follow this forum. Thx for the hint - I've written already and tried to describe with as many details as possible since I think this might be related to software versions and combinations of firmwar...

I'll try to narrow it down further (e.g. does it happen with only one device connected...) and get in contact with the C2 Support team.

Maybe someone else on here has a similar issue?

Yeah, it's the latest. Version 4.3. Works reliably with my other devices...

I wonder if it's about the combination of having an ANT+ and a Bluetooth device paired at the same time to the PM5
