Guys, the issue has now been resolved. I received a reply from Concept2 software developper. He explained that this error message appears when recovery tool doesn't see the back up folder. While it hasn't explained my issue exactely - since i was directed to the correct "logbook" folder by default, ...

PM5 "Restore Data" functionality problem

Hi guys, I have accidentally deleted tons of rowing data from my Concept2 Model D PM5. I have attempted to recover it using the backup on my PC but alas I get an error message "PM5 backup folder has incorrect number of backup files". The erased data has never been synchronised with the online log......
