It's an easy straight swap, just undo the two nylock nuts and swap it over. The new handle is better if your a bigger person with broader shoulders due to the wider grip position. Getting the old wooden one off the "U" bolt requires you to tap the bolt to get the recessed nuts out of the wood. The ...

Retrofitting a newer handle on a Model C

I just got a GREAT deal on a used Model C. I'm used to a Model D at the gym, and really don't like the handle on the Model C. Is it easy to retrofit the other handle? What steps does it take?

My wife is going to buy me a Model D with either PM that I want. I plan to row at home half the time, and the other half use the Model D with the PM3 at the gym. The PM4 comes with the Suunto, right? I like getting one included at no extra cost, but I wouldn't be able to use it at the gym, correct?

a good comparison of the Concept 2 and a Lifecore R100?

I'm interested in getting a rowing machine, and have seen good reviews of two--The Concept 2 line, and the Lifecore. Can someone let me know the main differences between them, and what they mean?
