Re: Seat recommendations for BikeErg
Some of additional thoughts: Spend some time getting a good fit. There's a lot of info on the web regarding seat height, seat setback and reach that applies. Make sure you're wearing decent bike shorts with a good chamois. Spend some time pedaling out of the saddle. I can ride 4+ hrs outside on my r...

Re: Another RowPro issue...
Hi, All. I purchased RowPro so I could use their training programs, and I set up a custom marathon training regimen this week. Many of the daily sessions include intervals, and I've noticed that only the higher-intensity segments get counted as meters when uploaded to my C2 log. For example, today'...

Re: Rowpro License Question
I didn't ask. I chose the annual plan because it includes upgrades. And $69/year seems reasonable. I believe that with the permanent (lifetime) plan, upgrades are not included.

Just a quick update. Pete at Digital Rowing was able to resolve the issue. It was an automatic renewal glitch...

Re: Rowpro License Question
I love RowPro and the guys that keep the development going but the support for the product is not great. At the end of the day its a very cheap to run bit of software so you cannot expect great product support, you have to figure most stuff out for yourself. My advice is that if you have been using...

Re: Rowpro License Question
You should take this discussion to https://www.digitalrowing.com/. I started with support at Digital Rowing. Initial response from them did not help and they have not responded to my follow-ups. Was hoping someone here might have some ideas or recommendations. Hopefully, Digital Rowing will figure ...

Rowpro License Question
Could someone with a Rowpro annual license confirm that you get a new license key each time the license is automatically renewed? Asking because even thought my purchase history does not show a new license with 2021 renewal, Rowpro is telling me that last years key is the one I should be using...whi...

Re: Peddling Backwards
This appears to be spin class thing. What a joke. Funny, I have never heard of pedaling backwards on any "real" bicycle riding-racing training sites. Must be a reason. Not just a spin class thing. I'm dong TrainerRoad structured training using a BikeErg, and the TrainerRoad guys actually recommend ...

Re: Bike Erg Noise
Just wanted to share my experience with crank noise. I was getting a dull thud when each pedal was passing thru the bottom of the stroke...that I could also sense thru the frame to the handlebars. Issue was worse at low cadence. Worked with Concept 2 support and did all of the usual countermeasures....

Re: RowPro Connection Issues After Firmware Upgrade
That's the response I also got from Concept 2. After confirming that OS and drivers are up to date, I did remove the Garmin ANT+ dongle before yesterday's row and had no disconnets. So hopefully that was the issue. But I'll still contact Digital Rowing to see if they are aware of any issues and have...

RowPro Connection Issues After Firmware Upgrade
Just upgraded PM5 firmware from version 162 to version 168. PM5 has drop connection to RowPro 5.4 on Windows 10 for all rows since firmware upgrade. Disconnecting/reconnecting USB cable or laptop reboot do not fix the problem. Only solution has been to do a hard reset of the PM5. After each PM5 rese...

Rowpro 5.4 Custom Rows
Does anyone know whether it's possible to use mixed distance/time intervals when setting up a variable interval custom row using either Custom or Advanced Custom Row studio? I saw something that indicated it's not possible, but I may have been looking at outdated information.

I'm on the latest version of RowPro and PM5 with current firmware. Just started using RowPro and really like it a lot.

Re: Connecting HRM
I should have said in my original post that I'm using Rowpro. I just need to remember to get the HRM connected to the PM5 before starting Rowpro. It would be nice of the PM5 remembered the connection...but it's not a big deal. Could I use ErgData and Rowpro at the same time so that ErgData would for...

Connecting HRM
PM5 and Polar H10 HRM. The PM5 does not seem to remember the HRM. I have to connect the HRM using the PM5 utility prior to each row. Just wondering if this is normal?
