I wouldn't mind nailing Halle Berry.

Short of that, 2 million quality meters and a sub-37:00 10K.

A great read. Thanks Mike. Does any of this data make you want to tweak your rule of thumb for 2K erg pacing, or do you still feel the 800, 600, 400, 200 negative split is the way to go?

They're not entirely invincible. I used to just shove mine down the back of my rowing trou until the sweat (or maybe the rancid odor) killed it stone dead. Luckily, it was still within warranty, so I got a free replacement -- which I now hang down my back on a lanyard while erging. Live and learn.

Blame the years of yoga for that. I'm so inflexible I can feel my hamstrings pinging at about 5 degrees forward lean from the vertical!

The likely problem with Parallels is the same as the problem with Virtual PC, no native video support. It would be nice to run Windows in a box with no rebooting, but at what cost in terms of performance slowdown? Edit: From their Web site: Virtual machines created using Parallels Workstation 2.1 Be...

Good news for anyone considering a new Mac who wants to run RowPro or any other Windows app. http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/ :D :D :D On the other hand, though. A Word To The Wise: Windows running on a Mac is like Windows running on a PC. That means it’ll be subject to the same attacks that pl...

I'm struggling with this, too. I really don't want to be laying out $$$ for a Windows machine I will otherwise not use, just to run Rowpro. Think I'll wait a few months until the geeks get the XP/OS X dual-boot working seamlessly, then get the Macbook I had my eye on anyway.

The is the first time I have heard a C2 representative state that there have been/are HR reliability issues with the usage of the of the C2 HR interface. As this is apparently a known issue it would have been nice for you to have informed us when it became known rather than waiting until a related ...

You can do it as a variable interval session. Just set the warm-up as one interval, then the piece as another, then your warm-down as a third, all with 0:00 rest. This will capture all the meters and individual times. Only snag is your average HR and SR data will reflect the warm-up/down as well as ...
