Re: Pete Plan Thread

@rowergal well done on the 4x2000. For me the most challenging of the long intervals. Especially the last rep indicates your mental strength.
Did a SS today:

Time Meters Pace Watts Cal/Hr S/M HR
44:19.5 10,023m 2:12.6 150 815 20 135

Best regards

Re: Pete Plan Thread

@Mike That was a challenging session! Especially the final 500. Psychological I´d prefer to get out with a piece where success has a higher probability.

Re: Pete Plan Thread

I agree that there is a lot of frustrating, conflicting and inconsistent information out there on diet, nutrition, and what constitutes "good health". We are all so different so I think you have to do your homework, give things a try and find out what works best for you. In the end, we are all just...

Re: Pete Plan Thread

very true Mike, would I have only recorded yesterday I probably would have quit after the third rep. Knowing I would post it made me to finish the last one.
And by the way the greatest effect you gain in an interval training is in the last rep.

Re: Pete Plan Thread

Hello Brandon, Welcome! Your question "For beginning rowers - and I'm sure this is a personal preference thing but wondering - once you've got a general level of competency on the machine is it better for overall fitness to focus on something like 2k/5k times, or would FM training be a better way to...
