Re: What Training Have You Done Today?
2000m warmup --> 6 x 500 @ 1:35-1:37 4-5'R (Rest was 10 pushups, 20 situps, 10 goblet squats with kettlebell and 40sec plank - not very restful) --> 2000m cooldown. This is the third time I've done this workout and definitely the easiest. I was surprised how easy it was to pull the 1:37 even after I...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?
2000m warmup --> 6 x 500 @ 1:34-1:37 4'R (Rest was 10 pushups, 20 situps and 40sec plank - not very restful) --> 2000m cooldown. Second time I've done this workout but I tweaked it a bit. I only did 6 hard intervals but did them at 1:34-1:37 instead of 1:38-1:41. Rest was undefined but was generally...

5k and 10k PB in same effort
I set out to just row a 10k today. No real goal pace or time at all. Started pulling and felt pretty good. So, slowly picked it up as time went on and ripped through a huge PB for both 10k and 5k. I had no idea what I could do for a 10k but the projected finish time kept coming down and that was pre...

Re: Pacing intervals?
Lindsay: Thanks so much for your response. I'll look further into the PP and how it uses previous efforts to set pacing. I didn't see much about that, but I'll look for it. James: Thanks. I was wondering a bit about using watts, but haven't seen much about using them for erging. It seems like 500m p...

2000m warmup --> 8 x 500 @ 1:38-1:41 3'R (Rest was 10 pushups, 20 situps and 40sec plank - not very restful) --> 2000m cooldown. Ouch!

Re: Pacing intervals?
Thanks G-dub. That topic you provided had some great info in it. The link was dead but I managed to find the calculator that was mentioned. That is all really helpful. I know over time I'll figure out what kind of erger I am, but for now it will be helpful to have some of these numbers to shoot for....

Pacing intervals?
I'm looking for some advice on pacing interval sessions. I'm really new to erging (~100k meters total), but I'm coming from a strong cycling and running background. So, as I start to look at training plans, I'm surprised that so few of them have prescribed pacing for interval sessions. I've checked ...

Re: Wireless headphones?
I had no interest in wireless headphones until I started erging. Wired was always good enough. After a few times getting the cord caught on something close to my machine and yanked out of my ears, I decided it was time to try wireless. I borrowed the wife's JBL Reflect Mini BTs from her and really l...
