Did my first 10,000 m today! Have been doing 11-12,000 a day to catch up in Holiday Challenge but have been splitting it morning and evening. Took yesterday off. Started today and didn't intend on doing ten thousand but just felt great so kept going. Being a beginner this was an exciting day!

Thank you both! I'm new to rowing (but LOVE IT!!) so just learning how to properly row and how to increase pace..mostly legs right??! So not sure anyone would want me in their boat for the CTC yet! I'm up for the distance type challenges for sure though.

Thanks Lindsay! Today so far I did 7742m, drag 115, and pace 2:35. I'm finally figuring out how to get a faster pace by concentrating on faster legs it seems.I'm clearly new to rowing but let me tell you, I LOVE IT!!

What should i be doing different-
Yesterday...drag 127, stroke rate 29, pace 2:43 for 5538 m
Today...drag 112, stroke rate 29, pace 2:42 for 7515 m

Sorry but yet another damper question!! Strictly a distance question...if I set the damper at 5 and then at 3 and perform the same exact stroke with the same exact speed will there be a difference in distance?

Hi! I'm a 47 yr old female from Pennsylvania and am looking for a Virtual Team to join. I see all of the Teams under the Choose a Team drop down but how do you know if these teams are active or are participating in the Virtual Team Challenge?? Thank you!
