Re: Cost of Concept2 in Canada

Has anyone recently puchased a Concept 2 Model D and had it shipped to Ontario Canada? I'm trying to get a handle on the total cost including duty, taxes, exchange rate, etc. I'm trying to see if it is less expensive than buying from a retail store. I have a lightly used one which is in excellent c...

I'm thinking it might be the area of the sprocket and axle where the noise is most noticable on the pull. The one with 85kil is the noisest by far. Would this eventually quiet down in time or should I see if I can get a new sprocket/axle combo while still in warranty?

Does the chain tend to get a bit quieter over time...D Model

I picked up 2 used D ergs. One has 285km and the other 87. Both are in pristine condition and are 2008 builds. The one with more kilometres is quieter when the chain is pulled. Do they take a little while to break in and quiet down? I probely wouldn't of noticed it but after rowing on the higher kil...

moose- you should give tech support a call. It sounds like it could be either a flywheel imbalance or possibly a non-concentric (bent) axle. Either of these conditions could have happened in shipping and are not likely to get worse or cause additional problems if you continue to use the machine. A ...

It could be a lack of shockcord tension. That's something that's easy to check/replace. Other than that it's a technique issue, do you get it if you row on another machine. Are you rowing with the damper fully open? Are you rushing up and down at 28 stroke or more? Like I mentioned I've had concept...

Vibration...how much should there be on the finish/return

I have a Model D less then 2 years old that I purchased used. It's in excellent condition and has had little use. I noticed on the return or finish when the handle goes back towards the cage the rower will vibrate a little. I have no vibration on the pull. Is it normal to have some vibration which c...
