Eat more (to gain weight and muscle mass). And pull hard. Make every stroke count. Size doesn't matter. The erg doesn't know how tall you are. Neither does the boat. Maybe consider doing some extra weightlifting on the side -- talk to your coach.

I've been rowing since September 2004. Was always athletic and extremely overweight my whole life. Up until July 2005. Kinda sucked. No, really sucked actually. :P But yeah, I decided in July that I was going to cut out every single kind of junk food and really increase my physical activity levels....

Goals

I've been rowing since September 2004. Was always athletic and extremely overweight my whole life. Up until July 2005. Kinda sucked.
