well that time is clearly fabricated, since that would be sub 1:30 for 10k, and i know Wadell just set the new record for 5k, at just sub 1:30 split, so their's no way someone went 29:50. But thats why in order for it to be officially accepted it has to be verified.

I assumed when he said specifically vo2 max training that he was probably looking for a relatively immediate increase in rac...

I read this in rowing faster as a good workout program for increasing vo2 max and race speed. It involved erging 6 days a week, with 4 days being steady state days, with fartlek style intervals of 45 seconds performed periodically thorughout the piece at race pace, most of the piece at steady state ...

They must have some kind of verification right, i mean for a 73 year old women to row 50000 meters a day, thats seems absurd. Thats almost absurd volume even if your training for the olympics, it just doesnt seem like your body would be able to take it.

Yes by the way the workout i mentioned was from the rowing news, but I received this workout from some people i know who did lactate testing with him. It is not my idea, and i have used it myself and it shouldn't lead to injury unless you do it every day or you erg with really poor technique

If you want to effectively transition that power into erg strength try doing erg strength work, damper set at 10 and then do sets at low rate, say between 16 and 18, and do 10 to 12 reps just like lifting. That will proably hep convert your lifting strength to erg strength

you could possibly add in this new workout that i have been doing. What you do is after warming up you set the damper to 10 and do 10 second sprints all out max rate. then you rest for a minute and do another one repeating this till you have done 10-15 of this but you could get by with as little as ...

I am a senior in high school and have been on a couple of recruiting trips. I pull 6:27 and from experience i know that they will expect you to be under 6:30. Don't worry though i am sure you can get there just put a lot of mileage in, start lifting if you don't already and you should see a big drop...
