Re: What Training Have You Done Today?
With the sprint threads closed I thought I'd get better response here. At end of August I'm participating in a multi event competition. One minute row for distance is one of the events. Last night I did 10x100m, 1'r. Averaged 1:26.0, r41 I'll probably only do another 6-7 rowing workouts to prepare, ...

Re: Shawn Baker training
Unfortunately it appears that the sole purpose of this thread has disappeared. It's too bad, I really enjoy reading Shawn's workouts. For the record, I'm glad Paul is gone. No need for a drama queen here.

Re: Shawn Baker training
Paul, when I started this thread it was with hopes that Shawn would continue posting his info here. I asked that Shawn and only Shawn post here. You can respect that right? People want to see Shawn's training. If somebody wants to see your training, or hear about who you're mad at, they will request...

Re: Would love some advice on using erg with weight lifting.
Short, high intensity before weights, longer easy work after weightlifting, either works for me. Have recently wondered if the order and indeed timing of weights and cardio is important from an adaption point of view....anyone? Essentially you are sending two completely different signals to your bo...

Re: Shawn Baker training
Sounds like all is well now, looking forward to seeing continued updates if SB is up to it. Maybe we could reinstate Ranger to give his commentary?

Shawn Baker training
Can we start a new thread for Shawn to post his training? I enjoy seeing the different sessions and the weight training. I'd prefer to see only Shawn's training here. If this thread is not acceptable feel free to delete it.

Re: Turf toe or Gout?
Ty for the replies. I don't think it's Gout then because even the worst of the pain I wouldn't describe as intense. More likely turf toe I believe, will probably LT see a podiatrist soon to figure it out. Finally got around to seeing a specialist and it's not Gout as expected. Gave me a steroid sho...

Shawn, if you're ever looking for something goofy to play around with for 5 minutes, I'd love to see how many meters you could stack up in eight rounds of the Tabata protocol.

Hello shawn, I've been reading your thread periodically and wanted to see if you've done sandbag training. I recently purchased the 150 lb strongman sandbag from rogue (it simulates an atlas stone but not as heavy and can be dropped anywhere). I love this as a strength workout and have never felt st...

Turf toe or Gout?
I've had pain in the large first joint of my left big toe for months. Don't know what it is, but has to be one or the other. It hurts more on the top of the joint, and hurts more when I flea my toe up than when I flex it down. Pain comes and goes but I can never really pin down what's causing it to ...

1' row training
Attempted to search and it didn't like my terms. Looking for a couple good workouts to maximize a 1' max effort. I did one recently and achieved 359m if that helps with recommendations. Thanks in advance!
