Re: Forum Flyers

Rididng the excuse wave too and having barely rowed at all this season; I am thinking if I only row once a month, I might as well make it the ctc.. I can see my lack in training though by Graham Woodley paddling away from me again. Yes, you know you're slacking when I'm pulling away from you!...

Re: Forum Flyers

Was rather looking forward to a few cold beers on the dock with Jack while waving you all off again this month - looks like I'll have to do some work instead!
Well done all on CTC, it was a bit of a grueller.

Re: Forum Flyers

I think commemorating COVID 19 in any way is a bit flippant - 10's of thousands of people have died and continue to do so. As a radical suggestion, why not do a meaningful workout, maybe even a ranking piece? 500m or 4x500m slowest counts, or Citroen's suggestion just bang out a 2020m? Just my 2p's ...

Re: Soon to be New owner

Mine is in the garage too, I did invest in the rubber mat and the sturdy cover from C2 at the same time which has done a good job of keeping the dust / damp off.

Re: Need help with motivation in lockdown

We've just started a new season, so you've got all your ranking pieces to do and see how you compare with others in your age group. Instead of thinking how terrible the lockdown is, try thinking of it as opportunity - opportunity to row more, see where you are, set goals and go for them. Join a team...

What time (GMT) does the new season start tomorrow?
It is one of those wacky US time zones.

It's midnight Eastern Day Time (because C2 are based in Vermont).
That's 05:00 BST, 04:00 GMT
Thankyou Sir.

Re: Prostate Cancer - Urinary Incontinence - C2 Rower

Thanks puffyp, I'll go and see the GP when he's open for consultations again and get some clarification, and get him to take a PSA blood test, whether he wants to or not :)
Meanwhile, as you say, crack on :)

Re: Prostate Cancer - Urinary Incontinence - C2 Rower

Thanks for sharing your story, we need to talk more and understand about PC. At age 63 I have noticed changes in my urinary process that make me think of prostate. With the current state of affairs re Covid, my Doctor is only doing telephone consultations and his view over the phone seems to be that...
