I didn't know people were crazy enough to erg barefoot or with just socks on all the time. I row with running shoes on. I think 1 or 2 times I forgot my shoes when I got to the gym and rowed with socks on and I had blisters on both feet for a week.

Kirk - I think the mental games you need to stay on the erg for the amount of time most of us do have the same theme - how can I make it through this hell or at least make time fly faster?? One difference between me and you on the progression though - if at 2K into a 60 minute piece I am asking myse...

Nice CTC row Brian ... that certainly shook up the boat assignments. Not sure I have 1:38 splits in me this week but will be gung ho to retain stroke seat for the 12K next month!

Dave - based on your Feb CTC scores, this should be right around where you should be - or better. With some more training this year, you could do some damage on the indoor race circuit next year as a 40 year old! (me, ... I'll be an elderly 45, so you'll have nothing to worry about ... ;) Have fun o...
