Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!
It seems it is the day of the 30 minute row. Set a PB of 7960 up from 7841. Admittedly, it has been a while since I have done on of these at an all out effort. This wasn't to bad quickly got up to 246 watts rate 28 and held that for about 21 minutes as 8k was my target. Held to finish close but not ...

Re: Rower's elbow
And now it's my turn with this diagnosis. The doctor gave me drugs, and told me to lay off the rower for a while :x I am curious does your elbow hurt when rowing? I have been having tennis/golfers elbow but never hurts while rowing. I determined it was being caused by the way I was sleeping on my a...

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!
Actually as all can see this was a thirty minute r20 not a 7k. Example, a beautiful 7k done by Anth @ an ave of r20. Now say someone is claiming a 30r20 PB, if you look at Anths first 3 splits they read r21, huge difference r20 and r21, a true 30r20 all splits must be r20. Great row Anth by the way,...

Very nice. You should be happy with that piece as it is no easy. Example, a beautiful 7k done by Anth @ an ave of r20. New PB on the 2k. Previous best was 7:08.0 today's time 7:01.5. Splits below: 2ksplits17.png I did this blind. I have not been doing any speed work lately and I wanted to see where my 2k time was. I flipped the PM5 up where I could not see it and started. I started out to fast and my legs tightened ...

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!
William, exceptional 10k for a 150lb LWT! Looks like you're local, I row with the Cooper River Masters over in New Jersey. Let me know if you're doing any local erg events. Thanks Edward. I am fairly new to the erg (about a year and half) so I am not real familiar with the events. I would like to s...

Set a pb in the 10k today @ 38:14.4 from 38:25.3 in October.
232 watts @ 29 strokes a minute.
Can't seem to attach the splits at this time.

Re: Anyone use compression garments during/after erging?
That is pretty much all I wear when I erg. Compression shorts or full length compression pants. They are not heavy duty compression kind of a light weight compression.
I row at home and they are really the most comfortable and impossible to get caught in the erg.

Set new pb on the 2k.
Brought my pb on the 2k down from 7:16.6 to 7:09.4.
Thanks to all the people who consistently post on the training forums. The advice that is posted has been invaluable to my progress.

Re: Firmware 22 bug report
Hi, I can confirm the strange 995 drag issue. I also sometimes get error 54 "too many strokes" during the display of the drag factor. The problem only occurs when I have a USB flash drive inserted. As soon as I remove the USB device the drag factor is displayed correctly. "Normal" rowing with the f...

IIRC, his wingman and interpretor, Mr. Gooseflight, may have done. Don't understand that reference but I think I understand what 'skiff was trying to say. I may be wrong. Anyway, what I [hope I] demonstrated was the quite the opposite to what you assert, i.e., as average pace increases a negative s...

A PB in the 10k today at 38:25.3. Took 27 seconds of my previous best (2 weeks ago). 10ksplits.png Thanks to all the regulars in this forum. I erg at home. Early to mid-afternoon is when I feel the strongest.
