I've had the rowfree mount since last spring and haven't experienced any problems. I use it on my PM5 but they also make one that fits the PM3 and 4. Good product, looks slick and is very practical for holding my iPad or phone. As far as smacking the chain, there is plenty of clearance.

This mount works for me. I'm 6'-1" and have no issues. My gen 1 and mini ipad both fit well and I can even throw on my laptop if needed.
