mid back pain

I think I know the answer (do more ab work), but my mid back has been really sore lately. I could only get 3500 in today vs. the 5000-10000 I have been doing.

So am I right in my assumption that I need more ab work & work on my rowing posture as well?

thanks

I look forward to beating my times as well... I looked back at my first row and have dropped almost 30s in my avg. 500 time. Woo! I look forward to getting into lightweight, but have a feeling it's still going to be awhile :)

I had a massive change of schedule so posting is a bit hard to do. I still check in a couple times a week, and am only posting now because the universe decided my kids needed to be awake early this morning...

time to row!

Good luck in the race... I miss the NW

You can go to any ticker site to create a ticker. From there copy the bbc code and paste it into the signature area in your profile. Haven't updated mine here lately, but I'm up to 196,828! Much more than I thought I'd be able to do in this amount of time. Sorry I haven't been around to reply sooner.

Both early & late :) When I'm on my current schedule (work late afternoons-nights) I'm already at work, when I'm on my summer/winter break schedule I'm almost home from work. That's it, I'm quitting my job so I can erg with y'all :) ROFL Thanks though, I knew it was either -7 or -9, just can't keep ...

Resting meters

I've noticed that on some of my rows my resting meters will transfer to my logbook, but on others they won't (the r=easy rows do not count my resting meters). Is there something I need to do to have these meters count? The total on my log card & in my book have a 156m discrepancy. I know it's not mu...

I'd love to get in on this, but need to coordinate my schedule a bit. Right now I'm rowing at 6:30 am pacific (is that -9 I can't remember because we change timezones) due to my crazy work schedule. This week it'll change due to my summer schedule & I'm not sure I'll be able to get in a row before w...

Welcome! Does this mean that it's really ok that I listen to "Little Bear" and "Maggie & the Ferocious Beast?" Sometimes we mix it up a bit and I listen to "Snorks" (eep!) or "Bear in the Big Blue House." Mostly though I listen to, "Mama! I'm hungry!" "Mom!! Look Mom!! Look at me Mama! Look!" "Mommy...

Yay!

I look forward to my row first thing in the morning. I just got my heart rate monitor in the mail on Friday & can finally see where I"m at along those lines. Kind of nice to know.

Glad you're excited!

truly an inspiration!

Right now I'm just hoping to get through the blue moon row in June. I've had to take a couple of days off due to some inflamation in my chest.

You did a great job! Congratulations for stucking it out & getting it done! Yay!!

Welcome from another heavyweight! :)

My whole family loves our C2, the kids (4 & 6) bug me constantly when I'm rowing for their turns. My daughter just finished the 5,000 M challenge.

Welcome again!
