CSV From Logbook Missing Quote
When I export the stroke data from a Logbook entry, the CSV file has a typo in the first/header row. Data in the fourth cell (cell D1) should read " Pace (seconds per 500m ) ", not " Pace (seconds per 500m ". It's missing the close quote character. This is screwing up my GarminConnect conversion pro...

Re: Garmin watch and PM5
Seconded for a request for Concept to work with Garmin to integrate ANT+ for Connect Indoor Rowing App. Bump. The newest PM5 firmware now supports ANT+ FE-C and Garmin allows devs to write to a FIT file. There's no more technical limitations to an app. The only question is when, and will it be from...

Re: New Concept2 Utility and Firmware for PM5
Beautiful. Now we just need to get the app written.c2scott wrote:ANT+FE-C is fully implemented in v22
Since it does appear that Garmin allows devs to save off standard data types into a FIT file, this seems like an easy next step for Concept2. Any status there?

Re: Syncing with MyFitnessPal or Garmin Connect
On iOS ErgData app can update HealthKit and MyFitnessPal can pull from workouts from HealthKit. I have absolutely zero interest in going through HealthKit (or multiple apps) just to get to GarminConnect, but I would be interested to see if this crazy path yields proper interval/power/stoke data. Ha...

Re: Syncing with MyFitnessPal or Garmin Connect
We want download, not upload. And even then, Painsled is Android only, requires PM5 (because Bluetooth Smart), and doesn't sync to Logbook.Livio Livius wrote:Painsled allows you to upload a tcx file or csv file.
And even if we had a CSV from Painsled, it would still need the proper datestamp to make a .FIT file.

Re: Apple ad featuring three c2 ergs...what app is that?
I came across an older app, "Met row nome" which looked pretty good If you run it with ErgData in the background, ErgData will drop stroke information (only record a fraction of the strokes). Confirmed by Concept2. No fix, working as designed. Capturing stroke data takes a considerable amount of CP...

Re: LiveRowing iOS App: Coming Soon!
To my disappointment, there is no possibility to download a TCX or CSV file... I would give up ErgData if this was possible. Upload to Logbook and Garmin Connect is all I want. TCX is close enough. I can convert the CSV to FIT if it has the right fields. Do they offer a user database?? how do I fin...

Re: Activity trackers
Does anyone here use a tracker that also works somewhat with the erg? Garmin activity trackers that support some rowing movements (accelerometer only, no direct connection to erg), are the FR920XT, Epix, Fenix3, and Vivoactive. This is done through the "Rowing" workout mode (not a Garmin app). http...

Requires PM5 (because Bluetooh Smart) and doesn't sync to Logbook (which is strange, because LiveRowing does).kris-o wrote:Painsled app on my iPhone

Re: LiveRowing Connect Cable is available for PreOrder
But does it work with ErgData?
I'd love to ditch my 30pin adapter. Maybe this will push Concept2 to update their tech.

ANT+ isn't enough. It must be ANT+ FE. Here's the data from my FR210.dannyk wrote:Also could anybody show me an example of how intervals look on Garmin Connect if a watch with ANT+ is used.

Re: the cable for iPhone
Doesn't the iphone / ipad require the purpose built cable sold by C2? I also tried a generic cable and it DID NOT work with my iPhone and Ergdata. iPhone requires the 30pin cable sold by Concept2. If you have a iPhone with a Lightning port, you need the Lightning to 30-pin Adapter as well. http://w...

Re: Syncing with MyFitnessPal or Garmin Connect
Did some work on manually creating a .FIT file for import into Garmin Connect, but there's still some limiting factors: The Concept2 ErgData iOS export to CSV does not include power or interval data. This limits the usefulness of the .FIT file we can make. The timestamp in the CSV is only the number...

Re: Garmin watch and PM5
(using accelerometer) Which is pretty useless/inaccurate indoors. ANT+ FE from my Garmin 210 gives me power, intervals, and exact distance from the rower itself. And Concept2 Log export gives me stroke by stroke distance and total stroke count. If you want useful data indoors, it's gotta come from ...
