Re: Ergdata android crashes with new version
Same issue with my son's PM5 (gen 2, i guess, from 2016/12) and the latest ErgData. Works fine on my PM5 (gen 5 PM5). E-mailed my son a very old ErgData version from 2020 (1.98 or something), and according to him, that works fine. Not gonna link it here as there is already link to much never working...

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Well, i am not in the FB either and could not read all the comments there, but did not notice any guidance if rolling starts are allowed like usual (except for the 1st interval of course), but challenge is Oct 2024 - The Fitness Matters October Challenge 2000m (rest 2mins) 500m (rest 4 mins) 1500m (...

Re: Confused about settling on a reasonable 2k pace
FWIW, 6x750m/r2:30 done at 1:46.7 avg (flying starts except 1st), actual online 2k race week or so later avg was 1:47.2 avg IIRC 6x1k/r1' 1:48.8 avg (CTC 2023 March?, similar starts as above), one of my strongest intervals ever ( i don't do intervals too often (shorter ones mostly only for the month...

Re: 200km row - advice and tips?
Newer PM5's seems to have ability to program longer distances than just 50k, so intervals are not needed. Just tested on my newer RowErg (bought 2023/09) to dial 200k continuous distance in with no problem. Got warning/notice saying max split distance is 60k (with !). Not sure why it showed that as ...

Re: Mud Season 2024 Certificate
Somebody was not happy and gave concept2 feedback, I guess. Managed to complete Mud Season Madness (10k version) on a last day of the challenge. Downloaded the certificate then and it did not have anything to separate between 5k and 10k versions of the challenge. Now after seen updates in this threa...

Re: Mud Season 2024 Certificate
Not sure about this years certiface as I've just completed 21 days of the required 25. But i've have both 5k and 10k certificates from 2021. Only difference was in the text "you have completed at least 5000/10000 meters on 25 days or more". https://i.postimg.cc/hgXsQw3k/2024-0-1.png Is there not suc...

Re: 30 r20 - knowing average rate during piece
ErgData has option to show at least stroke counter. Can't remember if it showing it by default or if you have to enable it by pressing one of those little "panels" to choose what metric you prefer. ErgometerSpace is able to show both stroke counter and "exact" average stroke rate of your workout, th...

Re: C2 5k Rowing Erg Test Training Program Advice, please
Is this the C2 program you are following? https://www.concept2.com/files/pdf/us/training/Training_5kRowingErgometerTest.pdf Your first session should have been executed like this: 5K continuous row. This is your initial time trial. Row the first 1K easy (conversational pace). Increase intensity each...

I assume he must be aware of that requirement?
He seems to be pretty fast on rowerg too, especially on shorter distances

Seems to be well below current WR, but not listed as Concept2 WR. Maybe they don't want to recognize it or maybe that guy has not even asked for? Not sure what the rules actually say.

Re: SkiErg first impressions
Rower is mostly posterior based. Skierg is mostly anterior based. Skierg, think doing crunches. Bend at the hips not really the waist. Drive is started with the hips. Slight bend in the knees Keep arms at about a 90 degree bend until you've completed your "crunch" Then there are several ways to fin...
