just a quick question (has probably been covered before) but does anyone know anything about optimum stroke length for various weight/ height rowers? I have been going through a lot of my recent workouts to look at stroke length and discover that it probably only make a difference when you get to 20...

go for it lalaland! I remember many a long year ago - about 18years to be precise - i was rowing river boats at school and at only 66kg trying to get into my school's 1st VIII. At the time i didn't realise it but i was fitter than i'd ever been in my whole life (and fitter than i've ever been since)...

thanks - some interesting responses there. I find i can't eat any less than an hour before a rigorous workout otherwise get the dreaded repeat where it feels like you might need to bring it back. I can also concur about the spine hydration, my back is always feeling like the slowest part to warm up....
