Re: Unable to assemble the pedal
I had a really hard time getting mine on too. There is a blue blob on the thread that seems to bunch up and make it harder and harder the further it is turned. I ended up putting some oil on it and that made it possible but I was a sweaty mess afterward. If I had a steel brush I would have tried to ...

8 second off is huge! Most impressive is the amount of training it takes to get to that score. Well done.

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!
Thanks everyone! Will keep working on it. 6:50 is next goal. Make sure to keep working on it as you're full of confidence and belief so you are more likely to keep improving. If you hit a wall and can't improve, back off a bit and do 3 or 4 sub-max 2k intervals at 2k+3/4 pace with 4 or 5 mins rest ...

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!
It finally happened.... 6:59.9 for the 2k. My throat is not feeling too great, but I am well chuffed. Well done. Your first sub 7 is always a moment to be very proud of, and you didn't have any margin for error Thanks! You are right. This was more like stumbling over the finish line, but I will tak...

Re: Returning from erg break
Thanks for the answers. As suggested by jamesg I will try to use it for improving technique and focus more on the leg drive. Hopefully improvement comes fast.

Returning from erg break
I just got back from a 1.5 month break from the erg. I had been chopping wood for several hours a day the first two weeks, and the last month I ran every other day (improving my 5k times significantly over the course of the month). Anyway.... back on the erg again I had to check the drag factor and ...

Re: Not seeing stroke data from a workout on a USB stick.
I must have misunderstood the features you wanted. I believe the pace boat goes at the average pace per split, so if you record more splits perhaps you will get an approximation. Either way, it sounds like you might enjoy either Rowpro or the "Programs" feature of Boatcoach.

Re: Not seeing stroke data from a workout on a USB stick.
Simpler design to build "Favorite" workouts in Concept 2 utility instead of having to record a workout and then save it - it would be great to program a week worth of workouts into my "Favorite" or "Custom" workout list so I can just come home, and hop into my my workout immediately without fumblin...

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!
The folks there were real nice - and I think it's unfair for me to simply say LSU rowing team. I'm pretty sure they must have all been novices/new rowers. Young men that are over 6 feet should have done much better than I did if they were in any kind of shape. If that sounds harsh, maybe I'm just u...

Re: Model D/PM5/Ergdata/iOS/Garmin/Memorystick
Ergdata should also remember ANT+ HR belts unless the iOS version is different from the Android one. Pair the phone with Pm5 and then pair the ANT+ HR belt with the PM5. Then Ergdata will ask you if you wish to save the HR belt (that may happen after the row is over, and sometimes even during the ro...

Re: Model D/PM5/Ergdata/iOS/Garmin/Memorystick
I'll do my best to help. I think using USB key together with Ergdata might be causing trouble. If you do not use Ergdata, does the pm5 still forget the USB key? If so, perhaps try another USB key (there are many threads about USB key trouble) or check/upgrade the firmware on the PM5. If you are not ...

Re: Model D/PM5/Ergdata/iOS/Garmin/Memorystick
If your old setup was working, why not just plug the pm5 into the computer the way the pm3 was? If you have
a USB key inserted it would work like a log card and remember your heart rate belt.

Re: Intervals: Ergdata to Logbook
It seems I did. The memory of the PM looks like this http://math.colgate.edu/~jchristensen/c2session1.jpg The Ergdata log also looks fine, but the C2 logbook, strava, garmin all say 12x4416m (which is obviously wrong). Perhaps something went wrong when sending to the logbook and it will be fine tomo...
