Re: Pete Plan, Heart rate zones
jackarabit The reason I have started to use the heart rate is simply to ensure I am not pushing too hard as I am frequently tempted too! I have been up to around 160 towards the end of the long rows which suggests that I have been going too hard (for those that I have spurned at the end I have gone ...

Re: Pete Plan, Heart rate zones
Dangerscouse I have ut2 as 123-141 bpm. I think I set the parameters as 60bpm resting and 175 max. I used the calculator at https://www.freespiritsrowing.com/forum/app.php/page/heart-rate-bands-calculator Stroke rate is between 21 and 23 with a drag factor of approx 100. I am 5 weeks into the plan s...

Pete Plan, Heart rate zones
Hi all, i am a new(ish) owner of a rowing chin and have started the beginner pete plan, currently in week 5. The first 5000m i did at a pace of 2:30, but have slowly increased the pace until i felt i was pushing quite hard. The last long row (7000) i did at 2:16 and the last split (4x800) at 2:06 wi...

Sending to logbook if i didn't use Ergdata
Hi all,
I have recently bought a model e and am following the pete plan. A couple of the workouts were done when i wasn't connected to ergdata an so were not sent to the log book.
Is there a way to send those workouts from the pm5 to ergdata, or do i need to use a USB?

Re: Soon to be New owner
And the second box is now coming tomorrow thankfully.
PS, what are people using to view iPads when rowing? I see that Concept have an ipad mount but it is not suitable for a Model E. There is also a RowFree mount, but that is $90 dollars delivered to the UK...!

Re: Soon to be New owner
Thanks all. Will be studying the videos until my rower arrives. Annoyingly one box is held up in a UPS depot “ Due to global health events beyond our control, your package is being held for delivery at a later date.” Just happy that I got one of the last rowers in Europe without having too resort to...

Soon to be New owner
Hi all, i have a model E due to be delivered today and tomorrow (for some reason the two parcels have split up somewhere en route (auf dem Weg?) from Germany.A couple of questions: - - I'm clearing space in my garage - what is the ideal floor space needed? - What are the good channels on Youtube for...

Re: What is this lead for?
^This is the answer. Its the cord for the Heart Rate monitor probe, but it looks like someone has taken it off (therefore you cant use a heart rate monitor). So its essentially a useless cord @ this time. Thanks for coming back, I have a polar H7 and log the exercise and HR stats via Endomondo on m...
