what to do
Did the doctor give you what you can do? Take the time that you use to row and engage in the activity that you are able to do. If it is walking then walk, If that is not allowed that again take that time and do something positive for your mind - read books on knowledge even training or fitness or mo...

ipod and sweat
Do you have a fan blowing on you? I have a fan and use a rhinoskin hard case for my 3rd generation nano with a lanyard and hang around my neck. I use the standard ipod earbuds.
If I do not have the fan blowing I will generate more sweat.

Interval Program 30x:30/:30r - question
I just did this workout for all 30 intervals = 15 minutes of rowing. My question is on the rest phase. Do you actually stop like I did and recover or do you actually row lightly?
When I looked at the logcard my meters counted were for the 30 second work phases.
Thanks

Inside of arms / biceps, elbow area "sore"
I started rowing first of April and have around 170,000 meters thus far where I jump around from 60 min rows, to 30 min rows and also 5000m rows. MY split times range from 2:05/500 to 2:35/500 with an average being in the 2:15/500 range. I row anywhere from 18 - 22 spm. The handle on the "c" rower f...

Thanks for the Info.
I have been watching the pace along with the total time which I do hard pulls and easy pulls by time. Minute hard with a minute easy. I have done 7 - 10m meter rows over the last 8 days and had a good workout tonight. I am keeping my spm to 20 - 21. This is more fun that indoor cycling. I row with m...

New Rower with 2 - 5k's and 2 - 10k's rowed.
I spent some time on this forum and slowed down my spm's and lowered the damper lever to 3 (machine at the gym had a 120 drag). My row this am for 10m meters I averaged 151 watts for the first 5000 and ended up with an average of 142.6 watts. My spm's were from 18 - 22. Question: what do you look at...

Rowing with a gut
I just jumped on the C2 at the gym finally and have done 3 workouts. 5000 meter, 5000 meter and just did a 10,000 meter this am. I am 5:10 and weigh 295. If I bowed my knees out I could extend myself to get a better catch or a longer stroke but figure that long term this is bad form. The 3rd row was...
