Re: Starting a profile for my grandson.

Thanks for the help fellas. The problem was that I stay permanently logged in to The Training log site. Logging out never occurred to me.

Re: Starting a profile for my grandson.

Thanks for the response Gregg. I visit that site usually several times per day to see what my rivals are up to. I did so several times today direct from your link. In the top right corner all I get is my profile picture. When I click on that I get a drop down menu offering Profile, Edit profile, Mai...

Re: Starting a profile for my grandson.

Ok, but I did think it sensible not to use his proper surname (which is different to mine as he is my daughter's son) on the profile, as COPPA insists, for the places that you mention. That still leaves me shy of the link which will enable me to set up his profile. Can you guide me to that?

Starting a profile for my grandson.

This is probably one for Citroen but anyone knowing the appropriate link could also point the way. My grandson turned six in April and is showing an interest in the rower. I have searched the COPPA and general profile information pages for a link to setting up a new profile for him but have failed t...

Re: PM5 gives wierd data

It is to do with configuration as Citroen says. I had the same thing on a rower on a cruise about ten years ago. I apparently broke World records for any age group at 65+. I posted screen shots of the monitor readout which some people seemed to take seriously. C2 will be able to tell you how to fix ...

Asymmetry

Do any of you make a conscious adjustment for any kind of asymmetry in your erging? Since getting back into serious erg workouts, I have developed significant callouses on the palm of my right hand at the base of the middle and left of middle fingers with lesser ones below the first joints up from t...

Re: What music do you row to?

I forgot to add that the reason that I was so knackered was the fault of SSR too. He had given the whole team a talk, the day before the competitions. One of the things that he said was that there is an energy which he called the 'alactic' energy which he likened to the easy first several strides of...

Re: What music do you row to?

I usually row with earplugs at my gym. I find that the Spotify playlists served up there usually make me think that deafness during my sessions would be a blessing worthy of higher subs. The norm is a mixture of foulmouthed rap **** and endlessly repetitive juvenile lyrics mixed in with a few simple...

Re: Concept 2 Model D2 with PM5 (black) for sale - UK

I am taking part in a sponsored spin event early on Saturday. I will leave my mobile with my partner in case you might call. I can offer reasonable petrol money if that helps. I should be back at my daughter's house anytime after 10:30am. I hope to hear from you before then if the machine is still a...

Re: Concept 2 Model D2 with PM5 (black) for sale - UK

Sorry, just seen where you are. I am currently in Richmond in London. Can that be made to work. 07812 380860. I leave back for Worthing sometime tomorrow but could delay for a day if it does work. I am not keen travel to St Albans because I am not familiar with any other part of London than Richmond...

Re: Reduced blood pressure = reduced performance?

I have also found that accepting a cholesterol reading as 'fine' from a GP is too simple. It may well be that your reading is good. I always ask for a printout of any blood test reading. This will state the correct scientific units rather than a broad brush plain number that GP's tend to state to pa...

Re: Reduced blood pressure = reduced performance?

In my opinion (as a past user) beta blockers should be banned. They dilate the arteries allowing easier passage of blood but they do nothing to limit the original condition. So if the problem is arterial cholesterol, there is no preventative effect. If the lifestyle of the user does not change then ...

Re: Losing the seat in short sprints.

Well, I decided to separate out one sprint variable. I used the handle the 'right' way up. The result was 100m in 18.3 seconds. So, no more use of that orientation. I was not exactly feeling on top form today. The main reason was that I had been toying with the idea of doing a half marathon in line ...
