Hey Glidegirl -

Just open up and log into your online Concept2 logbook web page using safari. Then click the "+" at the bottom of the page and select "Add to Home Screen" and voila - you now have an "app" to log your times! You don't need to buy any apps!

I had one of these for a short time as well. It was actually a sculling simulator too. The "cam/outrigger" design was very similar to the sculling simulator sold by these guys ( http://www.row-right.com/ ) that uses the concept 2 erg as the base - instead of sitting on/over the flywheel. Has anyone ...

Am I nuts?

Greetings - I hope this fits under this category. I was planing on transporting a single from NJ to MN on top of my Honda CRV in a few months from now. Does this sound foolish? I bought a Noble transport rack, but haven't used it yet. Is it sufficient for a semi-cross country trek? How much would it...

I had a general idea of what they meant, but this will help me hoepfully be a little more specific about HR training.

newbie with acronym problems

Sorry, I did "search" the forum and I found some of these but not all. I'm trying the RowPro trial right now and when fiddling with the program it cam up for heart rate ranges for me. I know "AT" is anaerobic threshhold, but could someone enlighten me by explaining what the other's are? AT HR UT ran...

I don't have slides (yet) do I don't know if this would work, but how about getting a 2 by 4 (lumber) and cutting it to size in order to wedge the slides in place. From the looks of the picture of the slides you'd need 4 pieces of wood cut to the exact dimension between the end of the slide and the ...

the coffey machine

I was able to buy a Coffey Sculling simulator (from the 1980's?) from a gentlemen from NJ through row2k.com classified ads. Anyway, the guts of the machine look incredibly similar (copyright or patent issues anyone?) to the biorower in that you sit on the flywheel area, it allows feathering to a deg...

Intersting (but pretty logical) article. Does anyone know of any articles or research that broke down the different sports and what physical attributes are most likely to contribute to success? It sounds very "19080's soviet/chinese sports school" type of thinking ... but ... they had/have successfu...

where'd my calves go?

Greetings! Just joined the forum and just started indoor rowing a few weeks ago. I started rowing on the water in June of this year and logged about 200 miles on the river this summer. I used to run to keep in shape and have noticed this fall that my calves have shrunk in size! :? My quads are notic...
