need a monitor
I'm looking for a used monitor for a Model A. I don't care whether it's a PM1, PM2, PM3, or PM4. Anyone know of a good place to get a cheap used monitor? There aren't any on ebay right now...

Are there any good rowing clubs in Seoul, Korea?
I don't need anything fancy, just a place where I can work out and go sculling periodically. Thanks for any info you can offer.

What are the best ways (and things to avoid) to crosstrain?
I didn't start rowing until later in life, so unfortunately I haven't been on a formal training program for rowing the way that I have for other sports. When I was a swimmer, our coach told us to lift light weights with high reps, and he said that if we go heavy weight with low reps, it would make u...

Info on how the most elite rowers train?
Does anyone have any information on how the most elite rowers in the world train? I can find sites on Arnold Schwarzenegger's training program when he was going for Mr. Universe, Lance Armstrong's program for his races, etc. Are there any site out there that tell me how the top rowers train?

How do I know whether a sculling boat is heavy or lightweigh
I'm a novice sculler so apologies for asking a question that might seem obvious to those with more experience, but if I weigh about 200 pounds, what size sculling boat would be right for me? (I'm guessing it's all about measurements of the boat, but what size scull would be ideal?) Thanks.

Why can't people use the C2 slides in some competitions?
I noticed that in many indoor rowing competitions, the C2 slides aren't allowed--why not? (And yes, I'm a beginning rower, so if this is a dumb question, please be polite in your answer.)

Help with possible overtraining...
I don't have any classic signs of overtraining (injuries, constant fatigue, inability to sleep, irritability, etc.), but I really like to work out and I have a physical job, so I spend much of my day exercising. I've read stories about coaches who have their athletes cut their training programs in h...

Help me identify these sculling oars please...
Someone told me that the sculling oars in these pictures are very expensive/rare/valuable/high quality, but anyone can say that so I'm wondering whether someone out there can help me identify them. They don't have any writing or logos on them and I've looked online and I see oars that look sort of l...

Working out with a sore knee
I have a minor knee injury but I want to give it at least a few days without any really stressful activity so that I won't aggravate it. But, I don't want to be away from my erg--are there any solid upper-body only workouts that I could do on my concept 2? I do have some sliders so I could do one le...

What are some things I can say to get my crew fired up?
I row and cox, what are some cool things I can say when I'm coxing to get my crew fired up to row hard, to get them to keep rowing hard through the set, and to congratulate them after a good set?
