You can go to the each of the Annual Meters Honor Boards and sort the data by country. Maybe that would get you going.Dano wrote:I was wondering if there is a way to search the entire rowing memeber database by country in an attempt to recruit specific members to join a "country team".
Thanks!

Re: Looking for a team
Those are are times, Kevin, and after only 7 weeks. I've been rowing steady for 8 years and have lost 50 pounds since I started. I'm currently in another push to lose 20 pounds and get to 200. I'm at 208 right now (6' 0" tall) and 62 years old. I'm putting in 75-90K per week and was at a 2:15 pace w...

I replaced my original PM3 batteries in January ....
The originals lasted well over 8 million meters, a month short of 4 years. The January set lasted less than 2 months and I had to replace them 2 days ago.
I'm using Duracel's and I'm now at 93% with this new set. What's going on?
I've got a Model D with a PM3

An "atta-boy" for Carnival Cruise lines ....
We just got back from a cruise of the Inner Passage (Whittier, AK to Vancouver, BC) aboard the Carnival "Spirit" The ship had two model C's in their gym. I got 5 rows in during the 8 day trip. Kept the weight gain down to a couple of pounds.

Re: Resting Heart Rate?
I'm curious what changes people have seen in their resting heart rate? Mine was about 70 five months ago. Now it's 56, maybe 55. That seems like pretty good progress to me, but what has everyone else's experience been? Geoff 42, male, 6'4" 190lbs. You can go to this thread for a discussion: http://...

I did try a half marathon about two weeks ago. It was painful, especially toward the end. (no pun, I guess). Anyhow, I'm going to lower the resistance and not worry about time, and try the full marathon next week. Mike: Here's a link to the C2 plan for training for a marathon. http://www.concept2.c...
