Re: ErgData and Cable from iPad to PMM4

Any chance of getting a longer Apple cable? And since I am asking, any chance of getting a cable that you can plug a charger into (like their HDMI cable). The APP kills my battery.

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room

Raymond W - 17,135 Awesome!! How is the come-back feeling? Well, it was going great, still had pretty good cardio from biking last year, and I was coming along well with getting the erg muscles back. I picked a big (for me) number for the challange to test my knees, and I think they may have failed...

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room

No, I don’t learn from experience, and I’m choosing 300K as my WEC goal… What’s YOURS? Well, I have 351,275 left to hit 3 million. If that does not sound like a goal I am not sure what would. The only hiccup is that I am working 6 days a week/12 hours a day for the first half of the WEC. Worth a sh...

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room

Hey all, Well I am back on the erg after being fairly absent for 18 months or so. I strayed into road cycling (again, I raced inthe 80's) and became pretty good in the local scene. I did notice some knee issues popping up last summer, but ignored it until the end of the racing season. When I did fin...

Re: Anyone using ERG: 75 workouts for athletes?

I have completed all of the intermediate workouts in the book and will be starting the advanced ones soon. I am working on my base conditioning now, but will jump back into her program for the races next year. Overall it is a good mix of workout types and intensities. She loves long warm-ups and coo...

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room

Great job Izzy!! I was looking at the results last night and it was a KILLER field in all divisions. The winner in my group, 40-49 HW men rowed a 6:00 flat. OUCH! I am really looking forward to turning 50 so I don't have to race against 40 year olds. Crank out some fast times this week (good luck wi...

IZZY,

You will do great at CRASH-B's!! Have confidence in your training and row to the plan. Stay loose and don't forget to breath :D (a BIG problem when I race). Oh yea, have fun also.

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room

Thanks for the training help Izzy (funny, I have a bird named Izzy). I got a 7:08.4 in the 2k and 1:34.3 in the 500. The winning Master mens time was 6:18.4. There are some wicked fast old dudes around here. I had a good base and was getting great work outs in, just not good enough. Next year I will...

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room

Hi all,

Completed in the Mid-Atlantic Erg Sprints yesterday. Very cool experience. Got a Personal Best by 8 seconds in the 2k, but did not break the magic (to me) 7:00 mark. I did come in 6th in the 500m sprint (masters division), which I am very happy with. I was spent for the rest of the day.

Possibly Sciatica. Do a search and see if could be, if so, try the reccommended streches and see if it helps.

Nice point about the slides. Do not see those in my future, but you never know. I do think Santa is bringing me a set of Shock Boxes though. I don't see the monitor being effected by those
