Maybe what you need is some good old perspective. I am older, shorter, and heavier. I'd never rowed anything but a canoe in my life until February. Now I erg six days a week. I've lost a whopping two pounds and I am thrilled. My blood pressure is 96/58. My clothes fit better (not great, but better)....

Sorry for this -- I'm new...
I want to do the March Madness. I'm slow but I"m a stayer! I'm curious though -- do I do my 5000m as a program workout or can I just get on and row and those meters will count?
