Re: New PM 5 doesn't recognise flash drive

You're right that Ergdata is a better option. Yes, indeed. I purchased a new Model D with PM5 in January 2016. I had nothing, but problems with the the PM5, C2 provided thumb drive, and firmware until I switched to using to Ergdata almost a year ago. Although using my erg hasn't been totally error ...

Re: USB Logbook Lifetime Meters Not Correct

I recently stopped using my C2 provided USB drive and migrated to the ErgData app.

Only time will tell, but so far ErgaData has proven to be easier to use and totally trouble free.

Re: Deleted workouts on USB after C2 Program 'Repairs' the d

Well after 2 weeks I am now used to using the ErgData app on my smartphone and the battery usage isn't too terribly bad (for the smartphone or PM5), and I've been rowing most every day since I started using it (currently doing the Mud Challenge). It's also much easier to sync the data rather than t...

Re: What does using the USB memory stick get me?

A headache unless your monitor is plugged into a PC using RowPro or a mains power adapter all the time because the USB stick draws alot of current and it will just kill your batteries. This precisely is why i recently migrated to using the ErgData app. I was a longtime user of C2 memory cards on my...

Re: USB Logbook Lifetime Meters Not Correct

1. Upgrade your C2 utility to V7.08.1 2. Download V25 firmware 3. Write V25 to your USB stick 4. Insert your USB stick in your PM5 5. Press all the right buttons to accept the upgrade 6. Wait for eight minutes 7. Grab a beer and celebrate a job well done Hi Citroen, I was not sure if your comment w...

Re: USB Logbook Lifetime Meters Not Correct

Dave, About once a month my PM5 adds roughly 100,000 meters to my lifetime total. It just happened again yesterday. When it occurs I receive an error message at the end of a workout that there has been some sort of date corruption, would I like to repair it? I reply "Yes". In yesterday's case the re...

Re: Uploaded results lose checkboxes - Won't clear duplicate

I was uploading to the online log with Concept2 Utility 7.05.03. I was using both HID Omnikey 3121 and USB, and all was well. (I do some workouts on PM4s and some workouts on PM5s, so my workouts are on both formats.) Then in the last couple of weeks the old results that were already uploaded regai...

Re: New Model D owner - usb flash drive problem

I recently took delivery (1/18/2016) on a new Model D. Since then I've put about a 1/2 dozen workouts on the erg. I formatted (FAT32, allocation 16kb) a Sandisk Cruzer Glide 16GB USB drive, that we already owned, and used that with the PM5 without any issues. I then obtained a 4GB USB drive. I attem...

Re: Adding a 'missing' workout to my logcard?

Thank you, I got it the first time.

I was just poking fun at the wording you chose to use. If taken out of context it suggested that I hadn't rowed the piece in question, even though I knew you did not mean that.

Re: Adding a 'missing' workout to my logcard?

You can't add workouts that you haven't rowed on to a logcard.
To clarify, I have rowed the workout in question on my C2 ergometer. I just can't add it to the logcard after the fact.
