Re: Is this rowing machine working right?
Greg, Another simple test would be to see if a different rower produced the same (or similar) blips in their force curve. I have a PM5 retrofitted on to my model C - but I have always assumed that the reading is correct and any blips reflect the foibles of my stroke rather than a reading error. I wi...

Re: Computer rowing analysis software ?
I notice that the front page of the logbook (when you have not logged in) has an image in the bottom left hand corner that shows a graph of an individual workout (hopefully shown below). This detail isn't currently available on Ergdata - but it looks like it might be coming?? (though I do not that t...

Re: PM5 - cable needed?
I use (and really like) Ergdata connected to my PM5 via bluetooth. I connect my ANT+ heart rate monitor to the PM5 and then connect the PM5 to Ergdata on my (android) mobile phone. Re: Computer rowing analysis software ?
My experience on collecting the data is as follows: Ergdata or a USB stick in the PM5 will give you data on your splits - but not stroke by stroke data. To collect stroke by stroke data my research found 3 options: 1- RowPro (needs a computer connected by a USB cable and costs $ to get a subscriptio...

Re: Upgrade PM for concept C - which one?
I retrofitted a PM5 onto my model C and love it.
I use an ANT+ heart rate monitor and collect the data via the ErgData app.
While the firmware continues to be updated occasionally I have found the last 3 versions (~8 months) to be reliable.
