Re: PM3 for sale
Unless its a really old version of the PM3, I would be keeping it as a backup monitor. If it can be Firmware updated to 315, then its a newer version of the PM3 and worth keeping. The internal design changed in about mid 2008 and its a superbly reliable monitor. Thanks Carl, I have updated it to th...

Re: Rowing with Broken Ankle?... New Member
Sob story: Input? Anybody rehabbed an injury like this using a rower? Anybody tried rowing 1 footed? Anyone have any suggestions/ideas here? I am obviously anxious to use my new rower and will want to verify it works properly within in the first 30 days. Also, I am excited about trying out RowPro (...

Hudson also has some DIY instructions on repairs at the bottom of this page: https://www.hudsonboatworks.com/?p=information Let me pass along two tips I got from an expert: For large repairs use two part epoxy with some filler mixed in and fiberglass. Westmarine is one source for these materials. A...

Re: Fixing a single
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I also found the following link which gives me instructions at the end of the pdf on fixing the dings in the hull. Sykes I also ordered some oars since the original Croker oars were stolen when my son had the boat stored in his college boat house. Once ...

Re: New Erg for grankids
I have two ergs, and one set of slides. I've mentioned getting one morelides slide so my wife or daughter and I can row a "double". I've not gotten a thumbs-down. Space is a problem; probably would have to set it up and break it down every time. Stay tuned.... Slides would be fun which is what my s...

New Erg for grankids
Just got a model D for $500. It looks like new. It will be replacing my current model D which I got around 4 years ago and has about 10 million meters on it. I have been taking my erg to North Carolina when visiting my gran-kids which is about 700 miles from my house. The plan is to leave my old erg...

Re: RowPro: which hardware software platforms work best?
I'm interested to know what combinations of hardware and OS have worked for RowPro users? And, which ones have you had problems with? Thanks. Sol I have been using an old IBM/Lenovo T60 for about a year which I resurrected from the garbage since it was really messed up would not even boot. I reimag...

Re: PM3 memory zapped?
Thanks again to Carl and c2scott. Today I managed to install the utility and update the firmware. Unfortunately, doing so seems to have wiped the memory of the rows I've done since the PM3 was zapped, but I trust all will be well from here on out. Nick The firmware upgrade also fixed my problem. Gl...

Re: What's your weekly indoor rowing routine?
Tim, That's an nice write up of your rowing accomplishments. It would help to read if you broke it up into more paragraphs. Now I needed to drop 5 lbs by race time and I was back to my high school wrestling days of stepping on a scale every day restricting myself to two meals a day and if I got dow...

Re: What's your weekly indoor rowing routine?
Tim - How long have you been erging? I also lift weights (and do some assistance exercises to go with that) but I'm interested in erging as my cardio routine. Sol Hi Sol, I have been rowing since winter 2008. Rowing is definitely my primary cardio activity and I have found that I can do it almost d...
