Re: ErgData App won't connect to PM5
Thanks Carl Watts, But I don't understand: I've been using the same iPhone with the same PM5 for years. What has changed with the hardware that won't work now?Carl Watts wrote: ↑August 6th, 2022, 8:01 pmYes there are Bluetooth hardware problems with the first Gen PM5's that they cannot simply fix in the PM5 firmware.

ErgData App won't connect to PM5
2 weeks ago I began my workout after coming home from vacation to a new look on the ErgData app v2.0.3(3)...evidently an automatic update. The first thing I had to do was reconnect the app to my concept 2's PM5 Hardware: 502 Firmware: 32. Problem is that while the PM5 says that it is connected, the ...

Re: Weight lifting gloves?
Thanks guys. I was intrigued by your technique of just holding on with your fingers. So I did a little research and found a few YouTube videos showing the technique of holding the handle lightly. I've been doing that for the last month and a half and have no hand pain! So thank you all for sharing.

Weight lifting gloves?
I started rowing at the end of 2015 to help alleviate upper back pain from a cervical spine injury. At first I started with just a few minutes on the lowest tension setting and added one minute per week to my routine until I made it to 26 minutes. I was pulling about 30Kg per stroke and feeling grea...

Re: Correct breathing technique?
Wow, thanks for sharing all of the great technique. I brought a couple of D cell batteries to the gym and fired up the Concept2's monitor! With the "just row" function I was able to use the monitor to keep my pace at 20 strokes per minute while using the one breath per stroke method and keeping my e...

Re: Correct breathing technique?
I like your style Citroen… But seriously, proper breathing techniques have always been important to my various exercise routines such as Walking, riding a bike, situps, push-ups, etc: I tend to match my breathing to the cycle of the activity. So I poked around a bit and this is what I found http://w...

Correct breathing technique?
So, I'm brand-new at rowing on the concept2 (Broken monitor) which I've set to level 1. I've watched videos and learned to start by warming up with just arms, then back and arms, then slightly bent knees back and arms for about 3 minutes. Afterwards I followed a forum users guidelines for 20 strokes...

rowing w/o monitor
I am new to rowing and I just joined a park district gym that has a concept2. It's monitor is broken. I watched some technique videos on youtube, but without a program to follow on the monitor I'm wondering how hard to pull, how many spm, and for how long should a session be?
