Thanks for the suggestions...... tightened the shock cord a little and that seems to have done the trick.

Metallic Clunk

My model D has developed a metallic clunk noise right at the finish. It's about 2 years old with about 2.5 million well maintained metres on the clock. It's difficult to pinpoint exactly where the noise is coming from because I can't replicate it without rowing but I'm guessing chain/shock cord area...

I know the feeling, I don't mind rowing first thing but rarely do a hard session. The only exercise I've felt comfortable doing first thing, i.e. 5-6am is cycling. I remember reading an article that said your spine is dehydrated when you wake up, so it's important to rehydrate properly before you do...

Finished! 10k today with a PB of 39:37.7 (not great but it's a start) for a total of 231,277. What's next??

Reached 194,053 today. Should make my first Christmas challenge tomorrow and on track for 240,000.... feels good!
