2007 CRASH-B Competition

I'll be heading to the 2007 Crash-Bs in Boston in the coming weeks. This is my first time and I am very nervous to be competing. My 2K time is 7:43.1 and that's a PR. Does anyone have any suggestions for pre-race things to do, or what to do while racing there? Any suggestions will be helpful.

I've only had these experiences on the erg. On the boat, I push myself to the limit, but for some reason don't experience what I feel on the erg. In a push to get a 7:15 2K done, I have had out of body experiences, headaches, and usually after the 2K I feel a lot of nausea.

Tendonitis

How many people would suggets cycling to me for the off-season? I ride my bike with my dad about every weekend on average for 5-7 miles everytime out. Also, does anyone have any suggestions for cheap, but well built road bikes, as I would like to get one.

I have a very long time until the end of winter training, I have until the end of February. I weigh about 180lbs and want to get that down, I am also 5'11".

Lowering 2K times, and 2K Training

I am a rower that does a 2K in about 7:40:05. I want to know who has any tips to get this score any lower, as I want to get it around 7:00:00 by the end of winter training. Or does anyone have and hints for training for my 2K's?

to respond to your question. i am a first season varsity rower. I got tendonitis in my elbow about two weeks into our season.
