Thanks -- I'll give that a try tonight and see if it works. You're right; it can be very hard to determine the location of sounds like this, especially when you're on the seat and moving back & forth while rowing. I'll post again after I try your solution. Cheers!

Did another 14,000 m today -- that's the most I've ever rowed in a single day. My cumulative total for the HC is 82,000. I think I should be able to pass the 100,000 m mark by Friday this week if I can keep up this pace.

I'm new to erging and am using a Model C. Started the HC on Thanksgiving Day and am currently up to 68,000 meters. So far, I'm enjoying it a lot. I think there's lots of opportunity for improvement on my pace, but I'll work on that after the HC is over. For now, I'm just focusing on getting to 200,0...
