What are you guys training for now? either way it seems like an unreasonable workout unless he is just trying to motivate you to push yourselves beyond what you thought was possible and doesn't really expect you to pull those times. Seems like a douchebag move to me though.

Journal of Sports Sciences says velocity of reps does not matter.
